Visiting Olimpia!

09 March 2023

We are not doomed to boredom during Polish classes. Getting to know school books, we get closer to people similar to us, discover foreign cultures and share emotions with those who lived even many centuries ago. It is worth feeling, experiencing and remembering. Greek myths are not only old, fictional stories about gods, heroes and monsters. These are universal stories that express the truth about man, his goals and feelings.
Each of us can awaken a powerful hero in ourselves, and our fifth graders know that very well! Not only did they read but also experienced colorful stories of ancient Greeks in Polish language lessons. As part of the final project, our students, under the supervision of Kamil, a Polish language teacher, presented unusual costumes and props. They impersonated selected gods and told the participants of the Olympic feast about them.
Polish language classes at Sokrates are ex-cep-tio-nal!!!
