We are pleased to inform that on the 9th of December 2017 our school chess team took part in Primary Schools Chess Championships. The following students played in the team: Mateusz Block, Jacek Wojtycki, Maciej Warylewski and Kornelia Osowska. They have been promoted to Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodship Championships that will take place on the 23rd of January 2018 in the Youth Centre nr 2 in Bydgoszcz.
Mateusz Drążkowski from grade 2a and Maciej Warylewski from grade 7a deserve to be mentioned in individual chess games.
The first player scored the third place in the category up to the age of 10 and the second player scored the second place on his chessboard.
