On Wednesday, children from class 2a went on a virtual trip to the Netherlands. Our guest, Mrs. Dorota Chmura, told us about the culture and history of the Netherlands. Children watched pictures of famous Dutch painters, tasted Dutch cheeses with apple jam and delicious Dutch cookies. In the second part of the day the children got to know the history of mathematics, participated in the discussion, played math games and saw mathematical tricks. At the end, we all made a poster together and planted tulips.
