Dear Student,
We are writing this letter to you because we know you have many questions and concerns about going back to school. Perhaps you have fear, anxiety, you are worried about what it will be like and whether we will check the notebooks, make tests from the material that we did during the year … We all have doubts – so do we, the teachers. Nobody knows what it’s like to come back to school after so many months. We do not have such experiences. Hence the fear we feel. We hear that you are wondering if it is even worth coming back now, or not better in September … Do you have a guarantee that in September, after an even longer separation, it would be easier? We think not. That is why we are so happy to be back! We want to assure you that no one is going to control now the work that we were doing during remote education. We want to assure you that teachers believe that notes and tests are not the most important things now. We want to focus on well-being, emotions, relationships. We want to be able to be together, talk, listen, and share our thoughts. We will arrange our time in such a way as to take advantage of the nice weather and the possibility of going beyond the walls of the school, organizing outdoor lessons or one-day trips. We will enjoy the time together. Remember that you have adults around you with whom you can share everything that is bothering you and who can help you. We are not saying that it will be easy for everyone. We say we are there for you. We can’t wait to see you!
