ATLAS

03 March 2021

Classes 6a, 7a and 7b as well as 8a and 8b took part in a virtual trip to the Large Hadron Collider and the ATLAS detector.
During the trip, they saw the detector “up close” and found out what the scientists working on the ATLAS Experiment project do, and what they want to investigate. Students asked many interesting questions about antimatter, the speed of light, the size and dimensions of the detector, which is of impressive size
We thank our guide Ms Kiley Elizabeth Kennedy for an interesting trip and comprehensive answers to our questions!
